RDF & SRF

RDF (Refuse Derived Fuels) and SRF (Solid Recovered Fuels) are fuels derived from municipal waste after an intense processing procedure involving the removal of moisture, inert materials, metals etc from the waste. The resulting fuel can be used to power intensive industry such as cement production, power-plants and urban heating grids.

RDF/SRF fuels are a vital commodity in addressing the growing global waste management crisis. Land-fill is no longer a viable option and increasing numbers of research papers are showing that plastic particles are entering the human anatomy, found in blood, brain tissue and even human breast-milk. The only way to address these crises is increased investment in RDF/SRF Industries.

Grehan Transport is continuing to invest in RDF/SRF and working alongside sister companies in the UK we are developing a unified RDF/SRF production and distribution network in the UK, Ireland and Europe. Grehan Transport currently exports RDF to Sweden.

We can provide all grades of RDF/SRF  with chemical analysis test results and full traceability. If you require RDF/SRF in shredded bale form or pelletised/granulated, we can provide various shredded and granual sizes.

We are always seeking further RDF/SRF uptake streams. If you are a producer of RDF/SRF or require cost effective, quality RDF/SRF materials in bulk you can contact Grehan Transport on the 'contact' link in the 'menu' bar.
